We would like to thank the Newton News for their continued support of SSAFA FORCES HELP.
Recently we recruited two caseworker s who put their names forward after reading the Newton News and I am delighted to report that they have now qualified and have become a tremendous boost to our busy team.
We are still recruiting caseworkers, fundraisers and helpers and would be delighted to hear from your readers, who have a bit of spare time to help both serving members of our armed forces veterans and their families under circumstances of difficulty or need.
Eligibility for our help is fairly straight forward, for one days professional service a life time of support, for the Territorial Army personnel, and National servicemen the same applies
We also cater for personnel who have served in the Merchant Navy under Admiralty charter and the British Palestine Police.
