John Greenow, lead Pastor of Xcel Church, from Newton Aycliffe, is cycling ‘Coast to Coast’ from Morecambe to Bridlington to raise funds for Xcel Church as part of their annual giving campaign towards church activities and helping people across the north east and beyond. This year the focus is particularly on youth and children’s activities.
John will be cycling the one hundred and seventy mile route in three days from 17th to 19th June and has a target of £5000.00.
John said “I cycled the classic coast to coast route from Whitehaven to Sunderland in 2013 and said I wouldn’t do that again, however I love a challenge and after cycling the ‘coast and castles’ last summer, I thought this would be the next step!
