THE continued success of a North East solicitors has led to promotion for one of its team.
Andrea Ingledew has taken up the role of Associate Chartered Legal Executive at Durham-based EMG Solicitors, which will see her oversee the legal executive team, along with taking on new responsibilities.
Andrea, from Gateshead, joined EMG, which is based at Abbeywoods Business Park, in 2015, having worked in the legal profession since leaving school.
Previously working as an advocate in criminal law and in the area of personal injury, she joined EMG as a legal executive working with the firm’s highly acclaimed Court of Protection team.
“It’s been fantastic to be part of the continued growth of EMG and to see the company’s reputation and success build,” said Andrea.
“When I was aware of this new proposed role I knew it was a great opportunity and I didn’t hesitate to apply for it.
“I was delighted to be offered the job and look forward to all the new challenges that are going to come along.”
Along with supervising two other legal executives and the company’s para legal, Andrea will be involved in business development going forward.
Emma Gaudern, who set up EMG Solicitors five years ago, said the new appointment was a logical development for the company.
“Andrea has been a vital part of the team for more than three years and had the right experience and commitment that we needed for what will be a new and evolving role,” she said.
“But I’m in no doubt that she’s absolutely the right person for the job and look forward to her continued success with EMG.”
EMG Solicitors now employs more than 30 staff working across a range of sectors including Court of Protection, family law, wills, trusts and probate and residential and commercial conveyancing.
