Every year ‘Aycliffe Bike Club’ and The Party Fire Engine tour round pubs collecting toys that have been donated, to be handed over to Bishop Auckland Women’s Refuge.
This event has been running 11 years and has handed over thousands of toys, giving kids a Christmas they could only have dreamt about, so please support this worthwhile cause. If you can, buy an extra present this year and leave it, unwrapped at the Turbinia, or better still, hand it over in person and greet the cavalcade of motorcycles (many in fancy dress) and the ‘Party Fire Engine’ at (3pm).
All bikers are very welcome to join in the fun, suitable for all sizes of bikes / trikes / scooters etc, just donate a toy. We meet at the Turbinia, Newton Aycliffe DL5 7PA at 11.45am.
