Sunday saw the unveiling of the new Santa Sleigh built by the Engineering Staff at J&C Coaches on the Business Park, for the use of the Rotary Club on their 2018 street collections. It will also see use on Christmas Eve helping out Great Aycliffe Town Council on the annual Town Santa tour.
The build has been a real Community effort with special thanks going to Dave West of Katell who’s company supplied the Timber all cut to size, including the fabulous Reindeers. Formica who supplied the Laminate, Bus & Truck Parts (Washington) and NPA Newton Aycliffe who supplied the Flashing Lights and John Woodward of Imperial Joinery, who assisted with the assembly.
