Greenfield U14 Badminton team performed extremely well, demonstrating tremendous determination, teamwork, tactical awareness and skills in the County Durham Badminton finals this week.
In a very close event on Monday 4th March at Wolsingham School, Emily Farlow and Courtnie Mills in year 9 and Lucy Ryans and Becky Adams in year 8 played extremely well. They managed to beat the overall winners (Durham Johnston) in their last game, when Courtnie and Lucy were unbeaten in both their singles and doubles. With the team finishing 3rd overall. Well done.
Badminton club at Greenfield School has moved to a Friday night at 3.30, we are always keen to welcome new members, and looking forward to training towards our next interschool event. Greenfield pupils are invited to attend and join in our success.
