We are excited to announce the official opening of a brand new Bargain Buys store to the residents of Newton Aycliffe on Friday 5th October, offering massive savings and fantastic bargains with our Store Opening Day Only Specials. The new store is located at the Newton Aycliffe Shopping Centre and will be officially opened in a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Deputy Mayor at 10am.
Newton Aycliffe is the twelfth Poundworld store we have taken over (creating over 250 jobs), with a few more stores opening to trade in the next week, employing over 500 people mostly from the recently closed Poundworld stores. With stylish homeware products, as well as a wide variety of toiletries and top branded confectionery & drinks, on offer, we provide amazing value so customers can kit out their homes and stock up on branded household essentials for less. This store has recruited over 30 new members of staff (part and full time) from the local area to become part of the Bargain Buys team.
The newly designed store has been modeled to enhance the shopping experience for all our Newton Aycliffe customers. It also makes it even easier to find all the bargains and savings we offer every day on branded household and food products; staff are being retained from the previous Poundworld store.
To kick-start our official opening, we have over £3,000 worth of giveaways with our Store Opening Day Only Specials. The first five customers in line for our store opening will receive a double faux leather bed for £19.99 (RRP £99.99).
