The first two pop up Play Cafes of the school summer holidays were generously hosted by More Time Café, Sapphire House in the IES Centre off Horndale Avenue. Families were able to enjoy a delicious two course lunch and spend time playing table top games, doing puzzles and relaxing with colouring therapy.
The Play Café Team had a real challenge trying to win Tic Tac Toe games against some very competitive youngsters, whilst there was little competition for dessert. The cooling range of ice creams was without doubt a winner in the fabulous hot weather we have been enjoying.
Thank you to Jill, Sophie and Ian Dewar of More Time Café, for making the pop up café so successful. You offered a great Menu and fantastic value. We are really grateful for your wonderful welcome and support for families and for the Play Café Team. It was rewarding to link with you through GACAP.
