On Wednesday 18th July Woodham Burn Primary School celebrated year 6 coming to the end of their journey at their school in style. They enjoyed a red carpet prom party which included a disco, mocktails, food cooked by staff and governors and some sweet treats including an ice cream parlour. The children danced the night away and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening celebrating with their friends. Excited Y6s started to arrive at 5.30pm and all made a huge effort dressed up in beautiful outfits. A fantastic time was had by all and Woodham Burn School would like to wish all of them the very best for their futures. Goodbye Year 6!
Mrs Robinson, Pastoral Lead said “The children were a pleasure to have and all the hard work paid off, they have done themselves proud”
Mrs Edwards, Head Teacher added: ‘The Prom is a lovely way to end the year and to say farewell to our Year 6s’.
