Greenfield Arts are delighted to announce their ‘Open Art Celebration Evening’ to be held on Wednesday 18th April from 6pm – 8pm. The event will present a final opportunity to enjoy the popular ‘Open Art Exhibition’ and appreciate the fabulous work from the many artists from around the region, alongside the chance to enjoy a variety of creative attractions.
Greenfield Arts are privileged to welcome guest speakers ‘Vane Women’ a prominent group of writers from Darlington who will be leading a poetry reading offering recitals in a variety of styles and voices. Talented artist Jilly Johnston will also be leading a session on ‘The art of business’ a presentation giving advice and guidance with a helpful question and answer session for budding entrepeneurs who would like to ideas to sell and promote their work. There will also be a number of crafts on sale giving you the chance to choose something for special for yourself or for a lovely individual gift.
The theme this year has attracted work around the theme of ‘The Power of the Pen’ and how art can inspire creativity and passion in us all. This is part of a wider campaign at Greenfield which has brought together a number of projects which celebrate a love of reading, writing and creativity and Greenfield Arts would like to welcome you to join us and enjoy our special evening.
