Woodham Academy has rescheduled performances of School of Rock due to the weather conditions.
The musical will now be performed by the school’s multi-talented students on Thursday, March 8 and Friday, March 9, both at 7pm.
Head of Music Robert Gales said:
“Our students have been working hard for months to prepare for these performances and were disappointed that the weather intervened, leaving us with no option but to postpone.
“However, they are looking forward to showcasing their talents at these rescheduled performances. We hope as many people as possible will come along and give their support, and we’re sure everyone will be very impressed and will have a great night.”
Based on the cult film, School of Rock follows slacker Dewey Finn as he turns a class of straight–A students into an ear-popping, riff-scorching, all-conquering rock band.
Tickets already purchased are valid for the rescheduled performances. Tickets, priced £6, and £4 concessions, are on sale now via Parent Pay, on the night, or from the school office on 01325 300328.
