Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 the following Information was sent to Heighington Parish Council on payment of Section 106 monies due to Darlington Borough Council from the building of 101 new houses at School Aycliffe Lane.
The breakdown on the Section 106 money in relation to the development is summarised below.
Highways Contribution £100,000 to be paid to Durham County Council for road improvements at the Horndale Avenue/School Aycliffe Lane Mini roundabout (or a lesser sum of the actual cost)
Sustainable Transport Contribution £ 90,000 for the upgrade of Water Tower inbound bus stop, including a raised kerb, and to improve the daily frequency of and extend the bus service in the vicinity.
Education Contribution £81,000 towards the transport of children in School Aycliffe to schools in Newton Aycliffe
Number of Intermediate Affordable Dwellings (Non Financial):
5 x Two bed dwellings and 5 x Three bed dwellings which shall be Shared Ownership Housing Units.
Rented Affordable Dwellings (Non Financial): 5 x Two bed dwellings and 5 x Three bed dwellings which shall be subsidised housing provided under a Shared Ownership Lease.
As such there is no Section 106 money due to be paid to Heighington Parish Council.
