David Wainwright from the Durham Wildlife Trust, Low Barns Nature Reserve, Witton le Wear leads Butterfly Conservation in the north. He gave a very interesting talk with stunning photos of these colourful insects to the Rotary Club recently.
The topic was a bit different, but David from Newton Aycliffe pointed out the importance of preserving butterflies and how many volunteers actively support the species.
