Newton Aycliffe FC are welcoming one of the country’s leading female-entertainment groups to the town as they host a first-ever Ladies’ Night. ‘The Dream Men Show’ will be featuring at Newton Aycliffe Sports Club on Friday 8th February, with tickets on sale now £10.

Stars of the show have appeared on X-Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and Big Brother, as well as in a host of print-based publications.

“We hope the Ladies’ Night is a success with the females on the town,” said Dan Lewis “It’s another ‘first-ever’ for the club but we’re confident of a good turnout. I am sure that for our female supporters – or the wives and girlfriends of our male supporters – the £10 ticket will be excellent value.

“It is important we continue to put these events on and make sure everyone in the town has a connection to the club in some way. There are many who do not like football, but we can still offer a service to them with nights such as this, and last year’s hypnotist evening with Adam Night, which was a huge success.

Tickets for the event, which gets underway at 7.30pm and is strictly 18+, can be purchased by contacting Dan (07581 784726, thesoccerfactoryltd@gmail.com) or club treasurer Paul McGeary (07703 732342, mcgearypaul@hotmail.co.uk).

While the club have been busy off-the-field, not much activity has been taking place on it. Games against Celtic Nation, Durham and Norton & Stockton have all been postponed, meaning the club have not kicked a ball in anger since January 12th.

But the club will get the chance to add to the back-to-back victories that started 2013 this Saturday as they travel to Hebburn in league action.

This will be followed by a key clash with bottom side South Shields at Moore Lane Park on Wednesday night (February 6th), where a win would mark a huge step towards safety.

The game kicks off at 7.30pm, with admission £5 adulsts and £3 concessions.
