Peter Hardy of Bramham Close was on his way to Bristol when his diesel powered car broke down on Horndale Avenue. He called the RAC who told him the car stopped because the fuel was breaking down and blocking the filter due to sub zero weather conditions.
The answer to his problem was to buy the additive 983 Microflex, costing nearly £15 for each tankful which adds a lot to the cost of running his car!
Peter thinks buying cheap fuel from Supermarkets might be the cause, but on investigation we discover all diesel fuel comes from the same source and is not affected by sub zero temperatures
