Following his tour of Great Aycliffe on Christmas Eve, SANTA would like to say (on behalf of Great Aycliffe Town Council) a huge thank you to all his volunteer helpers for their time and support; to Newton News for publishing his routes; to Aycliffe Fabrications, Pinkney Builders and Beaumont Ground Maintenance for the use of their ‘Santa Sleighs.
Thanks also to all those who came out to greet him despite the weather, and for the cash donations which raised £203.00 for the Mayor’s Charities.
Santa said “I wish everyone a very happy and healthy New Year – see you next Christmas!”
