Christmas Day Lunch FREE and you will be picked up and returned home.
Starting from Monday 18th December we are inviting you to join us at our new venue BURNHILL METHODIST CHURCH HALL.
The no. 7 bus from Woodham and the town centre stops at the Syd Chaplin bus stop on Burnhill Way and the hall is on the right just 2 minutes away. The No 5 bus will bring you back to the town centre.
The following programmes are arranged and you can be picked up from home. Our opening times are from 11am until 8pm
Monday: 11.00am Morning Coffee followed by cooked lunch
Tuesday: 11.00am activity to be decided
Wednesday: 11.00am: Mother and toddler
Thursday: 11.00am not decided open to suggestions possibly a shopping trip in our Community Mini Bus.
Friday: 11.00am Morning Coffee followed by a cooked lunch.
Friday: 5pm until 8pm Children’s DISCO every week.
Saturday: 11.00am morning coffee
Sunday: Children’s Sunshine Corner and Afternoon Tea for seniors.
Our committee’s aim is to welcome people who are lonely and those who are recovering from illnesses, suffering from or going through CANCER M/S, M/E or any other long term condition who need help or advice.
Talks will be given by professional people and we will be able to point you to experienced advisors. We are joining up hopefully with Cancer Care uk.
During the summer months we will have trips away to the seaside etc. and will have activities including Line dancing, 50/50 Ballroom dancing, Armchair aerobics etc.
