Preparing for Advent at St. Clare’s Messy Church was an afternoon of craft, story, song and of course food. Families worked together on the wonderful Advent Banners telling the Advent message and these will hang in church.
Making wreaths and icing biscuits were also popular activities and each child took home their own Advent promise jar. Our candle prayers were quiet reflections in this busy afternoon. Ending with a scrumptious tea – a fabulous afternoon.
Next one is 23rd December – Glitter Heaven of activities with Christmas Sandwiches, jelly and ice cream and party crackers. Please come along at 4pm.
