Our article last week on the Cowboy Guttering company prompted another company of the same name to contact Newton News to ask if we could point this out to our readers.
J & N Property Maintenance are in no way connected to J & N Plastics who seem to have disappeared from their Darlington address.
Mr. J Nicholson proprietor of J & N Property Maintenance from Bishop Auckland has been established for a number of years and has a fine reputation for roofing work so he is anxious that Newtonians do not confuse him with the company of a similar name.
It seems odd that this cowboy outfit used “J & N Plastics Group” and it could be part of the scam in trying to obtain work in Aycliffe.
Newton News would like to help J & N Property Maintenance as they may have suffered from poor publicity associated with their name. Newton News has since heard there is another legitimate business operating in the town which might be affected. A pvc roofing business named J & M should not be confused with J & N referred to in our previous article.
