Lifeline Community Action are now open to new referrals from Statutory and Voluntary organisations who are supporting people in need in our community.
Helping Hands has been developed to support people in crisis living in the Newton Aycliffe and surrounding areas. We provide urgent, practical and effective assistance where need is great, tackling the effects of hardship.
Helping Hands supports people through the provision of basic household goods and our dedicated volunteers get these supplies to those who are in desperate need.
We also urgently need someone to help apply for grants. It is very frustrating when there are people in need and funds are available but limited time to fill in the application forms.
