A group of young, aspiring chefs from Woodham Academy invited guests from the community into school on Tuesday 18th December for a Christmas meal.

The students have been cooking in the kitchen after school every week under the expert guidance of Linda Vipond, school catering manager and this was an opportunity to demonstrate the skills they have learned this term.

The students prepared and served an amazing three course dinner, followed by coffee and handmade chocolates, all made by the students (with a little extra help from Linda and her team!).

To add to the festivities,  there were crackers for everyone, a raffle and Christmas music to get everyone in the festive mood.

The quality and presentation of the meal was outstanding, the service was impeccable and everybody thoroughly enjoyed a very pleasant  evening.
