Residents in the Neville Ward are requested to make a note in their diaries for the a meeting on Tuesday 12th September at Neville Parade Community Centre at 6.30pm to form a Residents’ Association for the area. Important for this meeting is to encourage people not only to attend to approve the constitution, but also to consider putting themselves forward to take on the job of Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer or to sit on the Management Committee. There are so many benefits to residents having a properly constituted body to watch over local affairs and have a voice in decision making. Other associations formed in the town are very successful and also bring their community together to enjoy social activities. Having the Neville Parade Community Centre as a venue and focal point for the community is an added bonus. If you can give a little time back to serving your community please send your name in for the positions stated.
