Following on from the success of last year’s event, Durham’s International BRASS Festival is set to return to Newton Aycliffe’s very own craft brewery, the Steam Machine. Co-owner Nick said: “We are delighted to welcome back several highly renowned street bands to Steam Machine. Last year’s event was superb, with a great atmosphere that had the whole audience up on their feet!”
This year, to add to the spectacle the ‘Big BRASS Bus’ – a specially converted double decker which has been touring the County – will also be in attendance, promising an interactive performance suitable for the whole family. Top class street food will be provided by Aycliffe native Alex of Hatch76, a very well renowned festival food chef, with special one-off dishes for the event Steam Machine opens this Saturday 15th July at 15:00 with music to start at 19:30.
