I wrote to you a couple of weeks ago when I found a hedgehog impaled on top of a hedge.
Looks like the idiot(s) have struck again as on the same route from Woodham Burn to Stag Lane I saw a hedgehog on grass. The poor creature had been flattened, either by stamping on it or using an implement.
I was surprised to see a hedgehog at this time of year, especially after the cold spell and thought they would be in hibernation. I wonder if someone is hunting them in the same manner as badgers.It is one less wild creature gone – thanks to man.
