Neo Theatre Company have offered two local dance schools the chance to appear at the Majestic theatre in Darlington in their up and coming production a Night with Streisand and Diamond. South Durham School Of Dance (Principal Caroline Race) and Macadams Dance studios (Principal Diane Macadam) both from Newton Aycliffe are working together supplying dances to songs such as ‘America’, ‘Second hand rose’, ‘Don’t rain on my parade’ , ‘Forever in blue jeans’, ‘I’m a believer’, ‘Send in the clowns’ and a few more. Caroline and Diane are delighted to provide a great experience for their students in a professional show on 15th April at the Majestic Theatre in Darlington at 7pm.
‘We are hoping people will support this show and watch the hard work that has gone into it’ said both schools. The show features two of the country’s best tribute artistes: Christina Simone (Chrissy) from Newton Aycliffe as Barbra Streisand and Chris James as Neil Diamond. Enjoy huge hits as Evergreen, Sweet Caroline, The Way We Were, Love on the Rocks, Woman in Love, Cracklin’ Rosie, Don’t Rain On My Parade and of course, the wonderful duet, You Don’t Bring Me Flowers.
