Ladies and Gentlemen are invited to join us at the Phoenix Club (formerly The Royal British Legion Concert Room. The No 5, 5a.  and town service buses stop 2 minutes away at the town centre. Enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and a chat, play dominoes, Bingo, New Age Curling and enjoy Bus Trips and outings. You may want to go to the restaurant for your  lunch where a lift and disabled facilities are available. Our first bus trip will be FREE to Clays Garden Centre at Washington in March. We then hope to go on further trips/theatres and to places of interest, chosen by yourselves throughout the year –  Our aims are to help people to meet new friends, socialise and end the boredom of sitting alone in your homes every day, especially if you are recovering from a long term illness.
