Dear Sir
My son’s scooter was stolen from him on Monday 31st October 2016 outside of Greenfield School. He had just left school and was stood at the bus stop outside of the school above the subway. A man approached him and said that it was his scooter now and took it off him, and rode away. A lady in a car saw this happen and unknown to my son drove after him and got the scooter back. My son had already left the area and returned home, so the lady took the scooter into the school to be returned to him. She did not left any details but we would like to personally thank her for her bravery and for restoring our faith in human nature. This lady did not have to go after this man or attempt to return the scooter, but my son is so grateful to her. We would like her to get in touch with Newton News (01325 300212) so that she can pass her details on to us so that we can thank her. This story just goes to show there are some really good people in our community who will go out of their way to help others. Lindsey Eltringham
