Former Newtonian Emma Carter, now living in Yorkshire wanted to do something in remembrance of her late Mam, Jean. So on Saturday 20th August, which was her own daughter’s birthday, she “Braved the Shave” in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. So far £892 has been raised with more to follow and Emily and her family wish to thank everybody for their generous contributions.
