CHOIR PRACTICE
: The Village People’s choir meets on Sundays at 3pm in Aycliffe Village Hall to practise hymns in preparation for several Christmas events in the village. New singers are always welcome.
KEEP FIT
: A fitness class for the over-50s has started on Thursdays at Aycliffe Village Hall from 10am-11am. Sessions cost £3.50. For details, call Alex on 07774-513389.
WI BIRTHDAY
: Aycliffe Village WI looks forward to two events this month. On Wednesday, 21st November, there is the regular monthly meeting at the village hall when Lyn Swift will give a talk about Clippie Mats. The competition is for a Christmas decoration. The WI celebrates its 1st birthday on Saturday, 24th November, with a party from 11am-5pm. Brunch, afternoon tea, cakes, as well as children’s activities, raffle, tombola and quizzes. Entry £1 for adults, 50p for kids (includes entry to treasure hunt).
