St. Joseph’s Eight School Council Members were very lucky to get the opportunity to visit London and a number of places of political importance.
One of the key British Values we try to instil in our children is democracy by visiting the Houses Of Parliament where we observed sessions in the Commons and the House of Lords. The children met our local MP Phil Wilson during a question and answer session followed by a visit to 10 Downing Street and Buckingham Palace. On their return the children shared their knowledge with the whole school.
