Greenfield Arts invites you and the public to the preview of our latest exhibition by Rosi Thornton on Wednesday 1st June 6pm to 8pm.
Rosi is interested in used and distressed things which show layers of wear and tear, a way to carry layers of memories and meaning from a life already lived. Many cultures honour these same ideas of reusing and recycling. As we turn away from years of excess and become more thoughtful and careful with what we already have, whether through financial necessity or by remembering and renewing our own hand skills, these layers can speak to us.
