Great Aycliffe & Middridge Partnership (GAMP) have recently launched a Community Grant Fund, to provide grants to groups organising projects/activities within the GAMP area that will directly benefit and improve the lives of local people.
Funding is available to all local GAMP groups to apply for a one off grant to increase their capacity to develop community focused activities. Activities may include:
• Young people’s activities during school holidays
• Social activities for older people
• Community events
• Equipment that supports a particular activity
Applications to the GAMP Community Grant Fund must meet the following criteria:
• The beneficiaries of the activity are people in the GAMP area
• The activity addresses one or more of the GAMP priorities:
*Activities for Young People
*Crime and Community Safety
*Employment, Enterprise, Education & Training
• The activity must not have started
Who can apply?
• Any local not for profit and voluntary organisations operating within the Great Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership (GAMP) area.
• Faith based groups who operate activities which are not purely for religious benefit.
• Groups can apply on behalf of an individual, but the group should benefit in some way for doing this (e.g. an individual attached to a group applying for a coaching award).
How much can you apply for?
Applicants can apply for amounts between £250 and £750. Please note groups can only make one application for this funding, and funding will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please also note, groups who have previously received a GAMP Small Grant won’t be eligible for funding.
If you would like an application form, please contact the GAMP Team on 01325 327 441, or email: gampaap@durham.gov.uk
