Under 11 Girls v Easington Colliery – a tough game from a determined opposition tested the girls and as long throws were proving dangerous Faith in goal had to be at her very best. After a slow start the girls finally got into the game with a surging run down the side line from Hattie who cut back for Alex to sweep past their keeper. HT 1-0,
The girls started to increase the pressure in the second half with numerous corners and  a Kate shot was stopped on the line by a defenders hand, penalty, up stepped Hattie to blast into the roof of the net. The girls kept their shape to see out the game and secure the points FT 2-0.
Under 11 Falcons v Soccarena, an early goal from a great run by Declan set the lads on their way but despite most of the first half spent in the opposition half they couldn’t add to their only goal HT 1-0. Leon, having played the first half in goal quickly added to the lead only for Soccarena to pull one back. Aycliffe won a corner which was met at the front post by Jake but was saved, however Declan was in the right place to slot for his second of the game. Another corner and Jake’s header was pushed onto the bar – Leon reacted first to grab his second to secure the points FT 4-1
Under 7 Eagles v Easington Whites. A tough day against a strong opposition and the lads heaviest defeat of the season, despite heroic goal keeping from Tristan; Easington took the points FT 0-6
Under 17 v Leam Rangers – A slow start but Aycliffe opened the scoring from a McWaters free kick headed home by Coatsworth but within minutes the lads switched off and it was 1-1. Douglas restored our lead pouncing on a loose ball in the box for Leam to equalise from a soft free kick. A penalty converted by McWaters gave control of the game. Smith claimed the 4th goal and powerful header from Reay HT 5-2. MOM Josh Reay
On to our TJFA sides with Under 16 Falcons v Nunthorpe. A scrappy start as neither side could settle but it was Aycliffe
who created the chances and Sam Thompson was on the end of a great through ball to open the scoring. The lads played some good football but  couldn’t add goals before half time 1-0. An early corner and Sam Pearson slotted for 2-0 only for Nunthorpe to grab a goal from a similar corner. The opposition keeper was in great form but Aycliffe grabbed a 3rd goal from Ryan Flowers and a 4th from Cameron Bowsher. Nunthorpe scored their second – FT 4-2
Under 10 v Spraire Lads  with early pressure from the lads playing excellent football but with no reward. Spraire won a corner and took the lead followed by a second HT 0-2. Aycliffe kept battling but Spraire grabbed another 2 second half goals – FT 0-4
Under 9 Falcons v Leven AFC. One of the best displays of the season, with great passing football, using the whole width of the pitch. An early penalty by Cole hit the woodwork, but he kept going and was rewarded with the opener before half time 1-0. The lads stepped up a gear in the second half as Dylan scored a second goal and Cole scored with an excellent finish  to make it 3-0. Leven had the final word scoring from a corner FT 3-1 MOM Dylan
Under 12 Falcons v Saxons  A controlled performance against a side who beat us 8-1 early season. On a slightly heavy pitch Aycliffe controlled the tempo throughout. Kane opened the scoring with a superb volley from a corner and we added a second before half time from Jacob HT 2-0. In the second half Jacob calmly slotted past an on rushing keeper for his second only for Saxons to grab their opener. A nervous 5 mins followed as Saxons pressed forward but Kane grabbed his second of the game and late strike from Tom secured the points FT 5-1, MOM Jacob.
Under 12 Eagles v Golden Flatts. The lads played well enough to deserve at least a point but despite playing some excellent football and 2 great goals from Adam the opposition managed to take the points FT 2-3
Under 12 Hawks v Stockton Rovers. A disappointing result from an excellent team display, with long periods of good possession. Goals from Ben, Jaydon and Jack and a MOM performance from Ollie in the heart of defence, but Stockton took the points – FT 3-6.
Under 13 Falcons v Heighington – An exciting and dramatic game of youth football with every single player giving their all in this local derby and top of the table clash. Goals from Adam and Cole were equalled by Heighington and with the game evenly balanced at 3-3 up stepped Jack with a final minute winner FT 4-3 MOM Adam Askew
Under 16 Eagles v Middlebeck,  in a game that was always going to be a tough battle. Middlebeck played long balls and battled hard which seemed to unsettle us for a while and we didn’t play a lot of football ending the first half 2-2. We told them to get first to the ball, and get back to playing football. The boys listened and came out well on top in the second half winning 7-3 with goals from Daniel Hewitt 4, Ryan Harris, Liam Hardy and Daniel Ryans. Good performance in the end and another 3 points.
Under 13 Eagles v Acklam The team struggled at the start and found themselves 1 down then woke up and played football, scoring an equaliser before half time.
Second half – really nice football resulting in quick goals to take a 3-1 lead. Aycliffe then stopped doing the basics allowing Acklam back into the game scoring twice to level the score. The boys then held on for the point but it should have been three
