Greenfield Arts are presently hosting another exceptional Open Art Exhibition in their gallery space. The exhibition boasts extraordinary local talent which includes artwork applying a range of specialist media from ink and pen to wet felting resulting in a delightful array of colour and texture.
The exhibition, curated by our Arts and Community Centre Co-ordinator Sophie Lewis, has brought together a selection of artwork from the local area and has encouraged artists to select a small number of pieces for display. Our Cree volunteers did a fantastic job assisting with the installation which offers each artist their own space to showcase their personal collection.
The preview evening was a great success and a chance for artists and art lovers to meet and chat creating a warm-hearted atmosphere. Sophie said “It was lovely to see it all come together and to receive so many positive comments, it is great to see the range and quality of the work and to meet the artists and find out the stories behind each piece.”
