Newtonian and Greenfield student Adam Ord, 13, adds the Northern Indoor U15b 800m Championship Gold to his outdoor title.
A step up to his new age group makes this win for Adam, and his coach George Reid a surprise bonus. He impressively took on the favourite with approximately 300m to go, and finished strongly to achieve a new PB. Adam trains with Durham Harriers.
