When Newtonian Paul Robb was made redundant from South West Durham Training in 2005 he decided to start his own business.
As a qualified Fork Lift Driving Trainer he founded Lift Right and opened his centre in Whinbank Road and now employs four staff.
Paul’s parents came to live in Newton Aycliffe from Consett and Paul attended St. Joseph’s and St. John’s schools before taking an apprenticeship with Aycliffe Development Corporation as a Joiner.
He has been married to Julie for 33 years and they have two grown up children and two grandchildren. He has a keen interest in music and in his younger days sang in a band.
Paul’s training and services include Forklift, Manual Handling, Overhead Cranes, Slinging/Banksman, First Aid and defibrillation.
Paul’s business has built up steadily over the years and he has a fine reputation training staff from the Armed Forces, Tallents, Palram, B & Q and other major companies in the region.
