CrossFit All Out in Newton Aycliffe were very proud to have 2 teams representing on the competition floor on Sunday 29th November at the CrossFit Glacier Games competition in Gateshead.
“Beavers Beavers” (Nicola Jacques & Claire Dale) and “Badgers Badgers” (Christopher Knight & Colin Wooster) placed 32nd and 10th overall respectively.
Claire and Nicola said “we were excited just to be able to take part and the support from our members, Coaches and even other competitors was humbling. We originally qualified at 54th and 36th so to climb up to 32nd and 10th on the day was amazing.”
Terry Anderson, Head Coach said “this is what we love about the sport of CrossFit, anyone can become an athlete and have a go at the competitions if they choose to put the work in. It’s an inclusive sport and helps thousands of people worldwide to build confidence in themselves and what their body is capable of. It’s good to push yourself out of your comfort zone, that’s how achievement is fulfilled in all aspects of life”
