ACORN are currently organising a family Christmas Shopping Event to be held at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre on Sunday 16th December 12 till 4pm and would like to hear from other Newton Aycliffe community groups, who would like to sell quality gift items to the residents attending our family party. Tables Free of Charge. Free light refreshments available throughout the afternoon. Treat the kids to a visit to see Santa who will be in residence in his spectacular Christmas Grotto.
ACORN would like to announce their grateful thanks to Big Lottery Fund and Great Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership for helping with funding of ACORN in the Community Events, which aims to bring families together to enjoy fun filled activities.
In the coming year ACORN are planning a schedule of events beginning with the Halloween Spooktacular, held at the Leisure Centre on Saturday 27th October 5 – 10 pm.
ACORN is also planning a family outing to a pantomime, with more events to follow throughout 2013.
