Cllr Eddy Adam and Kate Hopper have been working with DCC officers to ensure the remaining two foot bridges in the West Park area are retained and maintained for public access.
They are pleased to report that replacement works are currently programmed to start on site on Wednesday 21st October and is expected to take 10/11 working days for the replacement of one of the bridges.
The second bridge will follow once the first bridge is reopened to the public. During this process there will be disruption and restricted access to the public rights of way, and we are sorry for this temporary inconvenience.
We have asked our operation team to ensure that signs are erected informing users of the upcoming closures.  The third bridge which has been removed is currently been considered for replacement.
