Heighington AFC Boys and David Brassell would like to thank Edd Gardiner and his family, along with their charity ‘Madathlon’ for their very generous donation of a Defibrillator which is housed within the sports facilities at Heighington Parish Playing Fields. The equipment is to be used by the whole community, giving reassurance and peace of mind, knowing we have this fantastic life saving piece of kit.
David would also like to thank Stuart Errington for organising the training for the machine with special thanks to Giles Mercy and crew from Newton Aycliffe Fire Station for giving up time from their busy schedules to help out with what could be life saving training, our Ambulance and Fire Service do a fantastic job and this training could not only save a life but also help these services do what they do best.
