Newton Aycliffe Rotarian Bob Stevenson raised £440 from sponsorship money for biking Coast to Coast recently.
He wanted to help the James Cook Hospital Scanner Appeal launched by the Rotary Club and he thanks those who supported him with generous donations.
Bob has biked all his life and walks to keep fit but got interested in doing the Coast to Coast through Bike for Life and the PCP who suggested the C2C which was a challenge he couldn’t resist.
His wife Angela also went across to encourage and support Bob. Champagne was available for all the participants who arrived in Roker together to celebrate their achievement.
