We are very sad at Greenfield Arts to say goodbye to our wonderful Gallery and Programme Assistant Anna Cole, who is leaving us at the end of August after three and a half years as part of the team.
In her role she has developed a high quality gallery programme, bringing stimulating and thought provoking exhibitions to the space and supporting it with educational activity. She has also set up the Shed space and assisted with projects, learning programme, holiday activities and more.
Anna has loved working as part of our small team at Greenfield Arts to achieve a lot. She has been inspired by many projects, connections and developments with local primary schools including as part of our Cutting Loose project, gallery activity and live performances.
She has decided to train to be a Primary teacher. Anna will do a marvellous job in Primary education, finding creative, interesting and innovative ways to inspire the children (and staff) to want to learn. We wish her all the best and will miss her lots – thank you for all your hard work and for being a brilliant team member!
We are excited to welcome Sophie Lewis in her new role of Arts and Community Centre Co-ordinator. Sophie has a background in dance and digital media and believes strongly in providing learning opportunities for everyone to help realise their potential. In her new role Sophie will run our learning and holiday programmes, work with artists to continue the high quality gallery programme and work with tutors and hirers to continue to make our centre thrive and our programme reach many.
Sophie can be contacted on info@greenfield-arts.co.uk or 01325 379048, alongside our Community Arts Administrator Laura Towns and Director of Arts and Creativity Katy Milne. Greenfield Arts is open Monday – Thursday 10am-9pm, and Fridays 10am-4pm.
