Woodham Community Centre volunteers David Sutton Lloyd and Tim Randall gave a talk to the town’s Rotary Club this week on their work in teaching “Computers for the Terrified”.
Their work is mainly aimed at older people who are afraid to use new technology and the friendly courses, run for many years, have been very successful. One of their most capable computer users was 90 years old so it is never too late!
The teaching is very informal and becomes more of a social activity with the opportunity to meet others and make new friends. Anyone interested can contact David on 316144.
