June is not traditionally a month for football however Newton Aycliffe Juniors FC are preparing for one of their busiest times of the year as they host their summer tournament on Sunday June 14th and Presentation day the following Saturday (20th).
The summer tournament will see 5 a-side games for Under 7’s, 7 a-side for Under 8’s and 9’s with 11 a-side format for under 13’s and 16’s. Thirty teams will be welcomed to Sunnydale and seventeen different junior football clubs will be represented in what promises to be a feast of football and fun.
As well as the on the pitch competition there will be plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained this will include a bouncy castle, penalty shoot outs, stocks with the chance to soak your team manager, refreshments and a money draw.
The football kicks off from 10am with the groups concluding in the early afternoon and finals starting from 2pm. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the fantastic footballing action and join in the activities on the day, we look forward to welcoming you at Sunnydale Leisure Centre. Everyone who does attend please do note that all visitor parking will be provided at the Leisure Centre.

Our Presentation day the following week will be a celebration of the achievements of all our sides throughout the season and will be hosted at Sunnydale Leisure Centre from 10am.
