Woodham Academy has strong links with numerous post 16 providers in the local area and regularly works with them to support students in progressing into post 16 education. On Tuesday 22nd January, 20 tutors from Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College interviewed students at the school to study A-Level courses in September 2015.
‘All students were successful at interview and were offered conditional places. They looked smart and were very articulate’ said Anita Blackburn, Vice Principal of Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College, ‘they are a real credit to the school’.
This is one of many series of interviews taking place at Woodham Academy, the next being New College Durham and Carmel Sixth Form College, and demonstrates the far reaching links that the school has with colleges both in the local area and further afield.
