St Clare’s Church FEEL GOOD FILM SHOWS will feature the musical “ANNIE” on Tuesday 6th JANUARY. Aileen Quinn plays the plucky red–haired girl who dreams of a better life outside the dreary orphanage. Daddy Warbucks (Albert Finney) can make it come true if Miss Hannigan (played hilariously by Carol Burnett) doesn’t foil them. Songs like “Tomorrow” “It’s a Hard-knock Life” “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile” and “Easy Street” make it a real feel-good film to cheer you up on a winter’s day.
Tea and coffee served at 1pm, included in the £2. The film starts at 1-15pm. A variety of chairs are set out for your comfort, and tables too so you can bring a spot of lunch to eat.
