Cynthia Scott, Founder President of both Shildon and Sedgefield Flower Clubs, performed her final flower demonstration, to great acclaim, at the AGM of Shildon and District Flower Club recently.
A former exhibitor at Chelsea Flower Show, her career in the flower world has been meteoric. One time President of NAFAS, Cynthia has been invited to demonstrate internationally, is a judge for Northumberland in Bloom and continues to teach flower arranging at Greenfields Arts.
Although retiring from demonstrating professionally, Cynthia’s love of flowers and belief in the pleasure they bring will ensure her continued support for the local flower clubs she founded.
She will most certainly be attending Shildon and District’s Open Night on Monday 24th November at Shildon Civic Hall at 7.30pm when National demonstrator, Tom Hodge from Southport, will present an evening’s entertainment with the enticing title of ‘Boom Boom Bos’
Cynthia will be there to welcome past and present friends.
