St Clare’s Church FEEL GOOD FILM SHOWS will feature “YENTL” on Tuesday 23rd September. Starring Barbra Streisand, Mandy Patinkin and Amy Irving. Yentl is a smart, spirited woman who wants to study at a time when only men are allowed to study. So why not pretend to be a boy?.
Streisand gives a shimmering performance of the film’s Oscar winning song score and there were nominations for Amy Irving and the art direction. Tea and coffee served at 1pm, included in the £2.
The film starts at 1-15pm. A variety of chairs are set out for your comfort, tables are set out so you can bring a spot of lunch to eat.
