Altec Engineering from Bowburn who were founded in 1978 have become the proud sponsors of Newton Aycliffe Youth Centre under 9’s and 11’s. This injection of funding has been gratefully accepted by both teams.
Managers Dave Todd and Darren Lowe said, “To have a local business wanting to invest in the kids and your team is fantastic. In the current economic climate it is difficult to attract funding for grass roots football, but we were overwhelmed with the offer of support from Altec Engineering.
This has given us the opportunity to purchase new strips for the forthcoming season. Altec’s Technical Director, Nick Batey said, “being associated with the Teesside Junior Alliance Football Club of the Year 2012 is a fantastic pleasure and opportunity for Altec Engineering. The football club is an asset to Newton Aycliffe and being a part of that was an easy decision to make. All at Altec would like to wish all the N.A.Y.C. teams the best of luck for the forthcoming season”.
Team captain for the Under 9’s Eagles, Adam Lowe said,” I love our new strips. We all look very smart and we are ready to start the new season and get them dirty”.
