We recently bought acrylic frames via Amazon and then were amazed and disappointed to find if we had gone direct to the company who maufactures the product it would be 20% less!
A company spokesman said we should expect to pay more as Amazon charge them 20% for using their site.
Whilst this may sound logical it may not be generally known as customers expect to get a good deal from Amazon and somewhere at the point of sale customers should be informed their purchase could be obtained cheaper.
Amazon were asked to comment but we received no response.
